Henry's Colors

This morning, Henry threw a fit because the pants I grabbed for him to wear with his shirt didn't match (they were brown, and the shirt was green). He insisted that I find the green pants to match the shirt. Margaret is pretty picky with her clothes, but she deliberately refuses to wear the matching sets of clothes usually. This is my first experience with a child who wants to match.

On that same topic, Henry is frighteningly good with colors. Most kids (and my husband) are pretty general on their colors, lumping fuschia in with pink or whatever. But Henry is very specific. He'll point out a color that is "bluey green" or accurately assign a lime green to green instead of yellow. Wes is green-yellow color blind, so clearly, Henry hasn't inherited that.
